auf Wiedersehen 2007

So, Alvida (goodbye in Hindi) 2007 !, 2008 we finally meet, I hope we'll get along very well and maybe more.
I don't make new resolutions each year, although its fun to introspect and find out what you would want to change to be a better person the next year, it's just that we have enough rules and guidelines in our life and who follow those resolutions anyway.

Anyhow while my fellow humans make their changing decisions, I reminisce about what didn't go so good, what wasn't so awesome in 2007:

1. My friend's book didn't get published


2. Last semester lasted longer than usual


3. My soccer team didn't make it to the finals


4. I couldn't go to The police concert in Toronto (I was sick, I couldn't make it farther than the hotel)


5. My favorite server for torrent downloads has been shut down (eztv)


6. My great grandmother died a few days before christmas


That's pretty much some stuff that had a bad influence on 2007, but although everything that happened I'm still hopeful for this year.
Even if things go wrong sometimes, I don't regret having tried ..

Here is something I like to say to those who ask me what my resolutions are for this new year (when I feel like saying more than "nothing dude")
-Believe more in myself, and NEVER be afraid to go after what I want.
