One tree- Many branches

In that optic, I think that learning a different language than ours open the doors to understanding the cultures associated to that language and furthermore a better understanding of ourselves, seen through the eyes of the other person.
Human nature, by definition, transcends the idea of culture or race, uniting the entire species through common biological needs and features: We are all required to eat, sleep, and someday die, and what separate us from animals is the complexity of our language, our mind and the ability to set goals and actions that have no rational purpose to our surviving.
